At First Kick Foundation, Positive Pathways is designed to support young people and adults to build confidence, develop skills, and create positive opportunities for their future. We work with individuals who may be classed as NEET, as well as adults facing a range of personal, social, or economic barriers, providing tailored support that meets people where they are and helps them move forward at their own pace.
We understand that progression looks different for everyone. For some, it may mean finding employment or accessing education and training, while for others it could be developing confidence, improving wellbeing, gaining digital skills, or overcoming barriers that have previously held them back. Our approach focuses on long-term personal development, helping individuals recognise their strengths, build resilience, and feel empowered to take their next steps.
Through 1:1 mentoring, group workshops, and practical opportunities, we support individuals to develop a wide range of life and employability skills. This includes communication, teamwork, confidence building, digital skills, CV writing, interview preparation, and access to volunteering, training, and community opportunities. By building positive relationships and offering tailored support, we help people overcome barriers, increase their independence, and feel more connected to their communities. Whether someone is taking their first step towards employment, building essential digital skills, improving confidence in social settings, or exploring new opportunities, Positive Pathways is designed to provide ongoing support that leads to meaningful and sustainable progress.
