Volunteering: Give a little time, get noticed
For your Volunteering section you give some time to something that helps other people. It’s one of the easiest ways to build confidence, meet people, and get something worth talking about in an interview. And you can do it right here with us.
Do it with First Kick
- Support one of our youth clubs

- Lend a hand at community events and holiday activities
- Help with fundraising
- Train as a Young Leader
Why it counts
Volunteering is the number one thing employers look for in a young person with no work history. It shows you turn up, you’re reliable, and you can work with others. That’s worth more than it sounds.
The detail
About an hour a week for 3 to 6 months. No experience needed. We’ll help you choose the right option for you and sign it off when completed.
